Guest guest
Dear readers I just happened to see a world debate on BBC on the energy scenario now esp with India, China emerging as major players and need more fuel, energy the gist is we r consuming less than 1 barrel/ca-pita china 2 barrels US 26 BARRELS and Canada, Europe also in 2 digits so we can never occupy their status whatever it be if we grow 2-3 times and they once also the lead is still theirs also we r following energy efficient EEC standards if USA uses EEC standards it saves as much fuel as Iran produces, so how obsolete and polluting it is I hope u remember my earlier post on GLOBAL WARMING last month so this in in line with it. as astrologers wee need to know this when we read charts for health, life, work, location etc. so we have to be up to date on these as well desha, kala paristhithi this is for members who may not have seen such programs this affects our health, weather, crops, life style eccomony as well. Guest guest
Dear Prashantji, Have you taken into account the progress India is going to make in the field of Biofuels in the next 10 years or so? I have been working in the field of jatropha biofuel plantation in India for the last four years and have been observing the growth in India. With the President of India Hon'ble Sri Abdul Kalam personally promoting Biodiesel Mission I look forward to rapid growth provided Indian bureaucracy responds to the need of the hour. What impact do you foresee on Indian economy due to the development of biofuel plantations in India with respect to self sufficiency. Government "predicts" a reasonable substitution of biodiesel in the country's fuel consumption reducing import bll and a few state governments have already started running some state vehicles on biodiesel. Indian Railways too has started running diesel locos on biodiesel on select routes. Should you require detailed info pl. refer my websites:- www.krypton-biofels.com www.kryptonbiodiesel.org www.jatrophabiofuel.com Please do look into this aspect and advise. Guest guest
Dear Amar, My friends in army tell me that they have been growing Jatropha trees in desert areas of Rajasthan since last few years. The army has been successfully using jatropha biofuel as a replacement of diesel in its vehicles. Guest guest
Dear Ashutosh, Yes they have been growing Jatropha in Rajasthan since the last four years or so. Unfortunately this year due to heavy floods many Jatropha plantations have been damaged. Army is a very big consumer of diesel oil and there is tremendous scope for substituting mineral diesel with biodiesel saving crores of Rupees. Also, Large tracts of land is available inside army cantonments and jatropha can be planted on these. Railways has started planting Jatropha on their land beside railway tracks in sone states.
