Guest guest
|| Hare Raama Krsna || Dear A&T, Namaskar. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are not taken in consideration in Jyotisha. Some new astrologers in India use these under the influence of western astrology or due to their personal research. However, these are not part of the tradition taught in India. The Sun or Surya is considered a 'graha'. In sanskrit, 'graha' means one which 'catches' us and makes us experience things. In that sense Surya and Chandra are grahas. However, in english translation it is translated as 'planet' hence the confusion.
