act-u-all-y the acting is all pretty good in this stage

of life; however some folks take it way too seriously

and would kill and die to preserve their script.

eh?

I act-u-all-y had some similar thoughts about that, but I didn't wanna start

another argument with myself so I didn't say anything.......

'Fake it till ya make it' seems to have some value, mayhaps as a focus of

consciousness, but there's a potential problem if this succeeds as a self

deception. Truly believing is wonderful. Pretending to believe by deceiving the

self is ego run amok. I'd venture to say, just as an example, that we've all

seen folks who 'believe' they're enlightened. As was mentioned, knowing this to

be so is the same as it being so, but mind has a nasty habit of splitting

itself in two and lying to itself.

Self deception is the reason we're not all 'enlightened' right now (the

Truth isn't hiding), and so I'm not in favor of anything that might lead to more

of it.

Hi Phil,

No problem, really, this problem. It's just another step in the right

direction, the one leading to the last step in seeing exactly WHO the

problem is all along. And it's never who we think it is, mais oui?

Thanks, Michael. Check out the poetry flashes if you haven't already.

They're pretty fun.

As far as pitfall paranoia, I've noticed my spiritual path has a huge

component of pitfall exploration. In recent years, it's become apparent that this

is an excellent way to avoid them and keep things moving forward. So, I do

understand your perspective, it's just what happens to work for me.
