Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagavate Sri Ramanaya, Our Guru is very simple not only in His appearance but also in every way that His life is His teaching. One day I took a new tooth paste and pressed little harder that more than the required quantity came out of the tube. My wife saw it and said "why did you take this much, you are wasting things like this". The comments made in front of some guests infuriated me that I threw the excess quantity on ground. The same day I happened to read one of the books on our Bhagavan. One incident was mentioned in it - Bhagavan after using the tooth powder packed carefully the excess quantity in a piece of paper for use next time. Bhagavan advised His devotees not to waste anything. My ego got a blow - I showed this to my wife. Her smile was potent with so many meanings. Eternal Bhagavan is constantly watching us every moment and guide us in several ways. Getting blows like this still continues as the ego still plays havoc in me resulting in some "rubbish" thoughts, words and deeds. Ramanaarpanam.
