Guest guest
FYI from AMY: This is such sad news. Check with the magazine web site in a few days for impending memorials. http://thebeltanepapers.net/ Marione loved the idea of folks making small wooden boats and giving her a symbolic Viking flaming funeral. Hi to all, Here's the bad email.........last night my mom died. Apparently she started having more trouble breathing and was taken to the ER. As we knew she didn't want to be intubated but wanted help breathing, they put her on a mask to help with that and make her comfortable. Shortly after that her heart gave out and she died peacefully. I wasn't there. The doctor who talked with me this morning seemed very nice. He said her lung had filled up with fluid again, which must have just come on because she had been doing fine earlier in the day when I saw her. I can only be glad that she'd been on the computer the last couple of days chatting with people and seemed to be doing okay. But we all knew it would happen just not exactly when..... Blessings to all of you who cared for her and made her life more rich and fullfilled by being in it..... janet [her daughter] from "A Book of Pagan Prayer" You are journeying across the dividing water that lies between this world and the next, carried away by the ferryman on your way. Look ahead of you, do not look behind. Look ahead of you, where your destiny lies. Do you see them? They are there, ahead of you on the other shore. Slowly, they become visible to you; the shining ones appear slowly out of the concealing mists. Clearly, they appear to you, though hidden from our eyes. Go to them, they welcome you. Go to them, not stopping for farewells. Holy Ones in the world beyond, open wide your arms to receive this one who is journeying to you. Make her a home, bring her to rest. Farewell, Marione. We who have loved you wish you a good journey. -- Diane -- Please visit http://WWW.MOONLADY.COM to discover: <> Moonlady News: holistic/eco/alt/progressive online listserve for N Texas. <> Winter SolstiCelebration: a Dallas spiritual tradition for 14 years. <> Moonlady Media: booklets-by-download and web advertising. <> Earth and Sky: lunar phases, seasonal dates and more.
