I think I would mix a bit of cornstarch in water (try 1 teaspoon to a cup of water) boil it so it thickens it a bit. then add a little powdered sugar to whiten and sweeten it, then divide it up and add food coloring for different colors. The paint was always a bit translucent, but it worked okay and dried nicely. You have to experiment with the proportions of cornstarch to water, but it did work well enough for the kids to have fun with it. Good luck. Kanti dasi PS if you do get a good recipe from someone, please share it. Thanks, K
