Srivilliputtur for Bhoo Devi Thirunaraiyur for Nila Devi Thiruvellarai for Sri Devi Thayar enjoys a special status in this Divya Desam. She did tapas to get that boon from Perumal Himself. Utsavar Thayar thirunAmam is PangayaChelvi. Moolavar is known as Senbagavalli. This temple was built by King Sibi. The Moolavar of this Sthalam is Pundarikakshan. Moolavar is in standing position facing east direction. Prathyaksham for Garudan, Sibi chakravarthy, Bhoomi Piratti, Maarkandeya Maharishi, Lord Brahma, Rudhran.
