Guest guest
Dear Ramesh-Ji: Your post is very clear and logically reasoned and a delight to read. It adds to the references and spirited arguments Sundar-Ji, Sunder-Ji, and Subu-Ji have provided. I have read what Bhaskar-Ji, Nair-Ji, and Sada-Ji and Prof VK, and others have written as well. It seems to me that everyone is pointing at the same thing but with a slightly different emphasis. When both sides use their best arguments, the distinctions between the positions start to get very thin. Bhagavan Krishna says in the Gita that in whatever deity (and by implication path) the aspirant has faith, He makes it stronger. Guest guest
Namaste Ramesh-ji, I really enjoyed your presentation and liked the systematic explanation of where samadhi fits in. >> Last but not the least, the fact is that yogAbhyAsa is one of the greatest spiritual "products" of Hinduism. bhakti et al are found in many traditions worldwide. But how many traditions have the profound sAdhanA that is yoga? >> Excellent point - I have mentioned this often in talking with friends etc on this uniqueness. regards Sundar Rajan
