Guest guest
spider bites: Ice off and on for swelling. 1% cortisone cream for inflammation...that is Western style. I am sure Dharam will come up with something really good alternatively. It's such a fascinating juxtaposition. Teresa
Guest guest
Hey Teresa, I'm not so sure 'bout that. All I was thinking of was attaching a piece of raw potato to the area. It'll absorb the toxicity, anyway. This thinking is in the same vein as putting mud on an insect bite. I have used a bentonite clay poultice (comes in liquid and powder form) for poison oak/ivy with great results. That's what I got. I assumed the toxins had already taken effect and enzymic break-down of tissue was taking place. I also noticed dark circles developing under my eyes. I believe the liver, kidneys, and gall bladder can be so affected in the case of toxic and venomous bites? However, I feel fine. Along with the physical remedies, is there a technique to channel or re-direct energy or prana to specific areas/chakras to bolster immunity and to cleanse the body of the toxins? Guest guest
Dharam I forgot completely about bentonite. Been a long time since I have used that. We used to use it for facials(us women that is)to draw out oiliness from the skin and blackheads. A slice of potato is really interesting, Thanks Teresa
