Guest guest
|OM GURAVE NAMAH| Dear Visti ji and Learned Members, I am trying to reconcile things that I have read about guru - mangal conjunction. I have read that guru mangal yoga is very good. The effect of this yoga is, the native will be wealthy, good health, extragavant and leader of a state. However, in Visti ji's vara chakra article on his website, he states that Jupiter gets eclipsed by Mars. How do we reconcile these two concepts. Guest guest
Dear Supritiji, What is the source for your following statement: "I have read that guru mangal yoga is very good. The effect of this yoga is, the native will be wealthy, good health, extragavant and leader of a state." Please let us know. Guest guest
|| hare räma kåñna || Dear Supriti, Namaskar Please let me share my reasoning on this. Guru-mangala yoga is generally said to make the person righteous and energetic (I'm not sure about the other results you mentioned). The eclipse yogas as taught by Vistiji are dependent I think on other factors like avastha. So, if when Mars and Jupiter are joined, Jupiter is strong, then Mars will not be able to eclipse Jupiter and instead Jupiter will be able to temper and channel the aggression of Mars to give the classical results of Guru-mangala. But if Jupiter is weak for some reason, then Mars can make the person forget about Jupiter's karakatwa. I have Jupiter and Mars in lagna, and I find this to hold true - and it varies especially with dasas. These are just my thoughts based on experience - I'm sure other members will add comments as necessary.
