Guest guest
Hare Krishna, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. The following is an excellent illustration of why the Child Protection Office has asked temples to screen new devotees. We need to check references and observe new people before letting them into our asramas and communities. A screening procedure is not just for child abusers, it also might help eliminate thieves and other trouble makers. Sacidananda Prabhu is to be commended for giving this information to others to help protect our temples. We need to be sharing this information. Often, a troubled or criminal "devotee" or child abuser will simply go to the next temple.
