The retrogression of Guru delays marriage. It is the 7th Lord from

Venus placed in retrogression. The 7th Lord from Venus is the Graha

responsible for 'bringing the spouse'. Therefore, there is delay in

the 'arrival of the spouse'. Also, Venus itself is retrograde.

 

Jupiter is the lord of the UL and being retrograde it can delay

the 'manifestation' of the spouse. Of course the potential spouse

already exists (!!!) but not as my spouse which is what is shown by

the UL Lord.

 

This is the main reason. Since Guru is involved in some powerful and

good Yogas, the delay could be for a deep seated and important

reason.

 

I don't know the true import of the MKS placement of this Guru in

Navamsha in Karka. Just in itself it will give results of debility

as it is retrograde in its sign of exaltation but as it is conjoined

the Moon, there is Neechabhanga of that debility. This Yoga is also

in AL in Navamsha: Dharmic image/ image in the field of inner

nature/ image as a spouse.
