So here they are, just as I made them, and any mistakes are, of course, mine: -The first thing Maa said is that we should always speak the truth. That is tapasya and very important. -She said, when asked if she advised any method of meditation, that we should always respect our every action, that is meditation also. -She said that She never forces anybody into spirituality. When asked how we can lead our children into leading a spiritual life, Maa said that we must just do so ourselves, give the example, and then the children will imitate that (I think this also applies to people we live with who are no longer children:)). -Basically, Maa emphasized that we should not worry so much; Life is simple! We have no need to think about the future; she said she never does, and that if we make the present nice, a nice future will automatically follow. -Maa said that the whole universe is her family; she is at home in every country and she came to the US because Ramakrishna told her to come. -She said that She gives three things: Pure Love, Inspiration and Appreciation. -She said that She always bows to herself in the mirror every morning and that we should think of ourselves as 'I am a child of God'. -She said She is always happy and that unhappiness stems from too much attachment. Remedy: GOD, go on duty; do your duty perfectly. We are all instruments. -She said that in India, there was a period when She was in samadhi for very long periods of time and ate almost nothing. At one point, She reached a stage where it would be very difficult to come back. And then came Swamiji, she said, and he asked the boon that She stay and protect the world. So that is why She is here. -She said that everyone has a guru; we just don't know our Self. -She said we should pay attention to every moment, because every moment is beautiful. -She said everybody is an incarnation of God.
