These simple desires will forever stay with you and must be satisfied or else you die, but others are added. Some are legitimate and can be satisfied some not. But some desires enter into adult life that cannot ever be satisfied because they are not based on really existing things they are sometimes based only on illusions, thought constructs, hearsay wishful thinking. It is the sometimes the very nature of some desires that they can never be satisfied. The universe consist of the devourer the food and the process of eating that is what Guru Gorakhnath said. Maybe it is good sometimes to abondon complicated desires revert to the simple live of a child be satisfied with daily sustenance and praise Annapurna. Guest guest
Hi Nora, Just wondering where you expect her to come from, and how you expect her to reveal herself to you in order for you to be fully convinced that she has indeed "come" to you. What is Bhakti ? Just giving ...... She is already there with You, I know it 100 percent. Just talk with here and send your Love to her, and I promise you in Her name, you will feel Her love and hear Her words coming to you.. It is so simple really it is. Bhakti and faith is important, Guru is also important. Without the one nobody get the other, one is the method second the result. THE SELF says : BUT you see Mahahradanantha. You've already found your Guru, so its easy for you to say. Bhakti and faith is taking too long. Ive prayed to DEVI for more than 3 yrs. To me its long enough. Why have she not respond. Dont tell me I do not have Bhakti or Faith. I have enough Faith in her. How much more time do I need to prove to HER that I am very serious about HER. Yeah! recite the Khadgamala or the Lalitha Sahasranama you all say, they are very time consuming. I have to go to work, I have other obligations. I do not have that much time to spend reciting all these? Why cant SHE come to me as soon as possible. If SHE is the Divine Mother, why aint she responding to the cries of HER child. Why SHE respond to others and not to me? Where are HER promises? All-new Mail - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster. Guest guest
It's amazing, so much gyan and so little understanding ...... "As above so below" What do we expect, trumpets sounding, bugles blowing, choires of angels singing, with Devi gliding down a golden staircase and lifting us triumphantly on high ! The cleansing process is harsh but it is in Love. Hang-on, you will hear the trumpets soon ! Guest guest
Let go my Friend, let go ........... mahahradanatha <mahahradanatha > wrote: , "znanna93" <ninahill wrote: > Namaste, > > SHE is everywhere! I commented on the many incidents where people think they can decide what is the right path for someone else. Some examples: "The only Guru you will ever need is Your Self." Now how does he know that? Maybe the poster will find a Guru, maybe not, it is devi that will decide if he needs a Guru not we. Why discourage belief in the Guru Principle (in a hindu shakta list) and instead recommend "the self"? There are several postings like this from vir. That makes me think he is of the opinion that having a Guru is something that should be generally avoided by every sadhaka.
