It is with great pleasure adiyEn reports back to you

the completion of the visEsha MangaLAsAsanam of

Oppiliappan Sannidhi dhivya dampathis by Srimath Azhagiya Singar

few hours back .

 

The new AabharaNams ( Two Golden CheNpaka Necklaces ,

ten adukku Pathakkams with green ( Maragatham) gem at

their centers were presented from the sacred hands of

MalOla PaadhukA SEvakar , Sri VaNN SaThakOpa

Sri NaarAyaNa YathIndhra Mahaa Desikan to the dhivya

dampathis..

 

Green is the color of TuLasi , where BhUmi Devi

incarnated in a TuLasi Forest and grew up as

the dear daughter of Sage MarkaNDEyaa and

Oppilaa appan arrived there to have ThirukkalyANam

with her and reside there to bless us during this Yugam

as a Vara PrasAdhi. Here Swamy NammAzhwAr named

Him "TannappArillappan " and acknowledged that matchless Lord

gave him refuge under the comforting shadow of His sacred feet

( tanthanan Tann thAL nizhalE ).

 

Green Silk Vasthrams were presented to BhUmi Devi

ThAyaar ( Moolavar & Uthsavar ) and Pattu PeethAmbharams

were presented to Moolavar , ThiruviNNagarappan

and Uthsavar , Ponnappan . VisEsha TaLikai SamarpaNam

was presented to the dhivya dampathis and approximately

200 devotees were present to enjoy the MangaLAsAsanam

by Srimath Azhagiya Singar .

 

adiyEn has been told by eye witnesses , who participated

at this MangaLAsAsanam that it was a kaNNkoLLA Sevai.

 

adiyEn thanks every one of you who took part in this Kaimkaryam

and contributed close to 7 laks of Rupees to fulfill this Kaimkaryam

at Oppiliappan Sannidhi .

 

A video of the Uthsavam ( DVD Format) has been completed and will

keep you informed once it arrives here .adiyEn will send a copy of

that video to all those who supported this Kaimkaryam .

 

During this special occasion , Srimath Azhagiya Singar stayed

at our house ( Ponnadi Saatthal) in Sannidhi street for few minutes

on the way to the Sannidhi . My sister and my nephew Srikanthan

were blessed to recieve Srimath Azhagiya Singar at our house

exactly 80 days before His SathAbhishEka dinam of November 30

at Srirangam .

 

adiyEn's neighbor , Sriman Vangipuram Navanetham Venaktanathan

(VNV) Swamy coordinated this uthsavam magnificiently at Oppiliappan Sannidhi.
