A happy Hi,

I am new to the list and actually a "follower" of the Taoist

practices... as I am always looking for powerful ways to enhance my

practices I came upon the kundaliniyoga.org webside and found out

about the 4/4 Energizing Breath

[kysets/44breath.html]... already with this I

have a question:

it says:

>>on each part of both the inhale and exhale, pull the navel point

toward the spine. (The stronger you pump the navel the more energy you

will generate.) One full breath cycle (in and out) takes about 7-8

seconds. Continue for 2-3 minutes.<<

now. What is one actually supposed to be doing:

pulling the navel toward the spine on each inhale and exhale AND

immediately relax again (inhale-pull AND relax, inhale-pull AND relax

etc.] or just keep pulling (and then relaxing after one inhale &

exhale cycle]? [inhale-pull,inhale-pull... exhale-pull, exhale-pull

etc. relax... start all over again...relax... etc.]

further: the hands are to be pressed "vigorously" during the whole

practice? (2-3 minutes) or is the pressure meant to be released in

between and then picked up again?

I would appreciate any insights into the practice very much.

I won'T be around often but hope to get support so that my practice

can skyrocket...

thankx in advance

with Inner Smiles

Harry
