Guest guest
dear anil ' Yes! this is the plant exactly in the link, very easy to identify with its typical leaf presentation called "Mosaic presentation". Thanks Dr.Vidyasagar for providing a valuable information. Some of the contribution from my side. Acalypha indica Sanskrit -- Harita manjari,Roopagandha,Vishwaroopi Hindi--KUPI Tamil-- KUPPARUNI Telugu—KUPPINTA and PUPPINTA In India we found two varieties .One possesses round leaves another with oval leaves with an acute angle at tip. Both has similar properties. Though we don’t come across the mention of this plant in Samhitas and other standard ancient Ayurvedic texts, many of the traditional Vaidyas here in Andhrapradesh use this plant very liberally in quite a number of ailments, owing to its easy identification, abundant availability, and non-failure results. Some of traditional claims known to me are Fine powder of shade dried whole plant heals effectively all types of bedsores, chronic non-healing wounds and ulcers, if used as dusting powder. Severe pain of carried tooth relieve instantly by placing few drops of fresh leaf juice in opposite ear canal. This is an amazing secret remedy, which is safe, effective and tested several times without any failure. Bruised fresh leaves to be tied over the wounds to fasten healing. In whitlow grounded fresh leaves are to be tied around the finger. This opens skin so as to expel pus and relieves pain instantly; subsequent similar application heals up the opened wound. In Hemiplegia and Facial paralysis (Pakhaghata and Arditvata) Fresh roots grounded and made in to bolus that the size of Nirmali seed (Kataka beeja—Strychnos potatorum—Cleaning nut)). 1 to 2 such boluses blended with 2 tolas of honey given depending on the severity of the condition and strength of the patient In Jaundice –nine fresh leaves, nine peppers and a pinch of camphor together grounded and made in to Bengal gram seed sized pills. One such pill to be taken morning and evening with water. Mere drinking of milk as pathya. Jaundice can be cured in 3 to 7 days. A decoction of whole plant (Samoola kashaya) added with castor oil relieves joint pains in amavata and vatarakta and also kills intestinal worms and expels out. Guest guest
I just had hydrothermal plasia for menstruation and cramps due to very heavy bleeding and very heavy cramping. This is where they run a copper coil up into the uterus and put 90 degree water thru it to "burn" off the layers of your uterus- it is almost like a D & C- This is my first cycle and I just got my period (which the doctor told me that I might not- ) the bleeding is substantially better, but the cramping is terrible. I have so much- Why do I cramp up so bad, even before the operation, I had such severe cramps- I do not have endomedriosis- I have had two children, by cesearean section and the cramping is still as bad as when I was a young girl. I drink water- could it be from dehydration? I do yoga- I go to a Yoga class three to four times a week- the cramping is better = but I am still in pain. That I need a pain killer- I hate taking this because they mess up my stomach the next day. I have tried the heating pad and that works- but sometimes it doesn't work even with the pain killers! Please help me if you can PS- I am a Kapha Ellen

Guest guest
Well copper itself will cause cramping - but the pressure point for this problem is behind the nipples and you will find that rubbing those areas on the chest wall quite excruciating but very effective (pin point the areas and then lie down so you can comfortably reach them ) - the cramping will respond well to Mag Phos 6x and/OR Magnesium Complex of a reputable nature - not Ayurvedic but effective in the meantime .......
