Guest guest
Shri Gopuji, While I agree that acts of religious fanaticism and vandalism cause hatred and blaze fires and reactions all around. But I for one would like the constitution to be changed. Why should I not do arati in my own house ? Why should I not build a small temple in my own house? If a invader enters my house and choses to stay here, would he get the right to dictate terms to me,on how should I conduct my life ? Pakistan though is made on our space only taken by force, have the guts to call themselves Muslim country, and we have still continued singing tune of secularism ? Why cant we call our country as Hindu country ? They are only minorities by name. Who has the guts to sell them goods and then take out money from them ? At least I dont have. Because they have Bhais all around. They have proper connections, political clout and in police too. Who has the guts in India our own country, to walk in their areas with a red tika (Tilak)on the forehaead ? At least I dont have. So who is minority ? If we do arati and they object,we can do nothing but pack up and go home. Why ? Is this not my country ? The constitution has to be changed so that they are not allowed to cast their votes or form groups or protest unless some injustice is done or except for religious purposes. That much of secularism should definitely be allowed. I also agree that Vande Materam should not be forced, but should come from all, within. About Ram Mandir . Why shouldnt it be made ? But after living in this country for so many years even I have become little secular. I would certainly not wish the mandir to be made by removing another religious structure or hurting sentiments of any other religion. I am not for that. But if we do not voice our religion, our Bhajans, our devotional songs, our Aratis in this country, then where ? Which is our country then ? Why is this country made into a Dharamshala. Nepal too has become a blot now because of entry of these criminals. At least uptil few years back I was happy that in Nepal I fill find a place which would be totally Hindu. But no more. regards, Bhaskar. , K Gopu <kgopu_24 wrote: > > dear bhaskarji, > ur observation of human weak mind is absolutely > correct. Guest guest
dear bhaskarji, I appereciate ur sincere feelings towards or country and our rich culture. At this juncture even if we declare our country as a hindu country prosperity never ushers in, we have a very long way to go and basically our people arent disciplined and this i have seen when i had travelled abroad. there are many good things to be learnt from western countries and many bad things to be discarded. rEcently dutch govt had to detain a dozen indians from a flight on suspicion. when ur in a flight we are not supposed to use mobile phones and they give instructions during take of to switch it of because it will interfere with the flight radar signals. every westerner will obey it implicitly whereas our people have abused the excess freedom given in our country. Our primary objective must be to be a good citizen of this country. At this junture I am reminded of winston churchill's speech in the parliament at London when independence was given to our country. He vociferously opposed and said that "ur handing over the country to Men of straw, it will take 200 years for them to understand politics and enter the periphery of politics, the country will be ruined by rulers who will be vagabonds, rascals and rogues. the rulers will leave nothin untaxed" Today we are buying water for our domestic use after 57yrs of independence with good wishes, k.gopu
Guest guest
dear sri prafulla, astrology cannot be delinked from religion and mundane astrology is part of it. so we have to go thro this and if something good comes out for the society, we will have the greatest satisfaction. anyway this is my opinion and i dont want the same to be accepted by all. with good wishes, k.gopu
Guest guest
Sir, I agree with your views. But should remind you that Indians in the real sense from good families will never behave the way they did in the flight. The whole world knows who they were.(Only one group) It was because of them and their not listening to staff on board that all Indians were put to shame. I would go so far to say that we need dictatorship in this country and if I were the one, I would have banned these 12 great Indians from travelling abroad for life, so that next time no other Indian would have dared to misbehave in international territory. This attitude of theirs is reflected in all their doings in day to day life and behaviour patterns too, which has to be changed to make the world a better place to live in. I would put all of these in one category and name them as FRI (Foreign residents living in India). regards, Bhaskar. , K Gopu <kgopu_24 wrote: > > dear bhaskarji, > I appereciate ur sincere feelings towards or country > and our rich culture. Guest guest
Dear Gopuji, You are a good man and maybe living in a place where mostly good people like you live. So might be that you have not been witness to what people like me see here in city like Bombay. You are away from the dirt, but I know better. When children, father, mother, brother, wife go out, till the time they dont come back , a lot of fear is there in mind. And this is for every day. To live with this fear is too much for any normal person. Then you cannot expect me to have very much nobler thoughts for these perpetrators. By making India a Hindu rashtra, all the rest will know their place in our society. Wea re not here to undermine anyone or put anyone to bottom. Just to remind them that once and once more ie. two times India has been cut because of their behaviour. The North East portion they say is POK. You must be having some knowledge of Vastu. Any plot with its North east being put to rot, the whole plot would suffer. We see whole India suffering today because of our North east. where God should be placed, the murderers are moving scot free carrying training camps and plotting new schemes to murder more innocents. By making India a Hindu rashtra at least the original people of this country can call India as their home. as of Today nothing looks like home. We are more like guests over here and unwanted. Because a well thought out and executed plan to ruthlessly terminate our bearings has been planned out in this country even after Independence, what to say before that. Its time to rise now , before its too late. No meaning in all of us trying to look decent and good. before we are killed by our own so called Indians living in this country. regards, Bhaskar. , K Gopu <kgopu_24 wrote: > > dear bhaskarji, > I appereciate ur sincere feelings towards or country > and our rich culture. Guest guest
Dear Gopuji, 10-12 years back, the mother of terrorist attacks by RDX in use was . done just three buildings away from where I live in Worli. 1200 people died in this area itself and the media mentioned 300. ( I came to know just last year that the Govt.had granted money to all those whose houses had broken, but we never knew, it seems that the money must have been showed paid to us in books and file closed) It was called by the papers as mother of all bombs. All the buildings within 300 metres radius had all the glass panes and anything made of glass totally shattered to pieces. The third building from where I live, was bent like a weak shrub in a curved shape when storms come, the same shape this building took. And its a five floor strong building built 50 years back. That scene no one can forget in his life once he has seen it.That was the first terrorist strike witnessed by India and it was the first among a chain that day in Bombay. We have witnessed many since then in this city, in trains (recently ) and before too, in buses, near Share Market, near Mumbadevi temple. My office is just 10 minutes away from Mumbadevi temple at princess street near Marine Drive. 3 weeks ago in the train blasts my father had just passed that area 10 minutes ago. When the Bomb was blasted at Gateway of India, just 2 minutes away my daughter goes every week to attend foreign language classes.See Sir, everyone staying here has been affected somehow or the other directly or indirectly, I am not being hyper. We have had enough. We have to keep TV on the whole day, God knows from where some bad news may come, before going out of the house we have to check the news channelon TV whether all areas are okay or not, hoping that no local bad news in any area is there. So Sir, You cannot blame me for being what I am today. regards, Bhaskar. , "Bhaskar" <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > > Dear Gopuji, > > You are a good man and maybe living in a place where mostly > good people like you live. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji / Gopu ji How is religion creating fear in people? It is terrorism or naxal movement, which are threat to internal security. I feel that, coming transit of saturn / ketu will be difficult for domestic issues of our country. regards / Prafulla Gang It is easy to change your expectations. You can do it in an instant. And that can be a problem. Too often, we lower our expectations because that is easier than overcoming the obstacles which stand in the way of fulfilling those expectations. ************************************************ > > bhaskar_jyotish (AT) (DOT) co.in > Tue, 12 Sep 2006 13:44:32 -0000 > > Re: Headlines Today TV-Last word 11/9 on SSS Baba? > > Dear Gopuji, > > You are a good man and maybe living in a place where mostly > good people like you live. Guest guest
Shgri Prafullaji, Religion has direct connection to Fear or creating fear in people. Religion is the direct contributor for making certain people becoming fearless and committing fearful aytrocities on innocents and putting fear in the people, and at the same time reilgion is also direct contributor for putting fear in good humans we see, to avoid them into committing such actions as above or even such thoughts forming in their mind. !) Certain people following certain religions dont mind feeding animals for some time and then cutting them and eating them too, while certain people from certain religions who feed people or animals for some time would treat them as "Atithi devam bhayo" and would treat those whom they feed as venered guests in their house. Like many devout Jains too would not even wear slippers or shoes while going for darshan to their temples in morning or evening walk to the temple lest they unintentionally kill insects on the road with their footwear on. Comment - would not the first category have no pain when they cut down other fellow humans while the other category would not even think in this manner.Would the first category have any fear when they see blood ? No they have already seen enough to have fear. 2) Some religions would allow their men to marry even first cousins and step mothers. While others from other religions would not allow that even in the remotest dreams. In some places even if the Gotra is same and boys and girls are less in the Gotra fold, yet they will not marry within but go for inter marriage. Comment - Why because they have fear ? Would the first category have fear in raping or abusing or spoiling th modesty of any women ? 3) In some religions Non-veg is allowed, while in others not allowed. Does not feeding on Tamas food make a person fearless and cruel while feeding on vegeterian make a person Sattwik and fearful ? For example I do not eat even cakes made from eggs. or for that matter pastries too. Comment - Why ? because eating flesh is not what my religion has taught or eating eggs is like eating a unborn child. Would there be no difference bewteen me and the other category when it comes down to cutting flesh ? Would i be able to do it ? No. 4) In some religions they show the way to forgive and forget . Have you not known the story of Prithviraj Chauhan who captured his adversay 16 times, but each time had pity and left him ? while in some religions if they catch their adversary even once they will blind him and finish him. Commment -1) from where was the fear formed not to harm the adversary and from where was the fearlessness formed not to leave the adversary once caught ? 5) In some religions people would imprisonment their own fathers to have the throne/business empire, while in others it would be sacrilgeous to even think so.Father and mother are like God for them. comment - is the fear not inbuilt of committing wrong from childhood ? and was not the fearlessness in the other case also not from childhood as seen in ancestors case too. 6) in some religions the followers have fear even if they see a deadrat on the road will walk past the other side with face turned the other way. while in some religions the followers have seen flesh from morning to night, dusk to dawn, sunrise to sunset, Comment- does not the religion teach fear or fearlessness of dead flesh/meat ? what would these fearless mind to see hundreds of bodies scattered here and there with some hands missing, some legs missings, some heads blown up,somes bottom blown up. somes upper torso missing, somes lower. 7) In some religions they teach you that "Do unto others as You would have them do unto you" or show the other cheek also when you get a slap on one cheek. while in others , even a person who is from other religion is called infidel, and a word here and there if uttered will prove his death knell. Comment- does notthe religion teach this ? To put fear ? Anyway I can write a book on this. Frankly speaking no religion is bad. Its only the people individually who are good and bad. People who are really religious will not commit fearful acts and would allow their neighbours to live fearlessly and peacefully. So in the ultimate analysis religion does not count. But yes it does count for characteristics, instincts, mind set, habits, thought process and also behaviour patterns, alongwith personality traits be it physical or on mental level. sorry, made it little long. regards, Bhaskar. , Prafulla Gang <jyotish wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar ji / Gopu ji > > How is religion creating fear in people? Guest guest
Sir, The finest and recent example of religion creating fear in people, is those 12 passengers of the same religion who were taken off board and put in custody and kept in seclusion till the suspicion was cleared. regards, Bhaskar. , Prafulla Gang <jyotish wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar ji / Gopu ji > > How is religion creating fear in people? Guest guest
Sir, The Sikhs too have to keep long hair and turban and beard as per their religion, which is creating fear in UK london and elsewhere in other countries, They are being targetted as followers of Osama Bin Laden, for no fault of theirs , but only because of their religions dictum, fear is possessed by foreigners who may have no knowledge of Sikhism as much as we have. regards, Bhaskar. , "Bhaskar" <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > > Shgri Prafullaji, > > Religion has direct connection to Fear or creating fear in people. > Religion is the direct contributor for making certain people becoming > fearless and committing fearful aytrocities on innocents and putting > fear in the people, and at the same time reilgion is also direct > contributor for putting fear in good humans we see, to avoid them > into committing such actions as above or even such thoughts forming > in their mind. > > !) Guest guest
ll HARE RAM ll Dear Bhaskar ji, Really it was little long. God bless Shashi Shekhar Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish (AT) (DOT) co.in> wrote: Shgri Prafullaji, Religion has direct connection to Fear or creating fear in people. Guest guest
ll HARE RAM ll Dear Bhaskar ji, Really it was little long. God bless Shashi Shekhar Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish (AT) (DOT) co.in> wrote: Shgri Prafullaji, Religion has direct connection to Fear or creating fear in people. But yes it does count for characteristics, instincts, mind set, habits, thought process and also behaviour patterns, alongwith personality traits be it physical or on mental level. sorry, made it little long. regards, Bhaskar. , Prafulla Gang wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar ji / Gopu ji > > How is religion creating fear in people? Guest guest
Shri Sashie Babu, "RAM RAM " Even I was doing humour only. Such discussions as presented since last 1-2 days may on the face of it look like criticsm, but if anyone goes deeper ,the good points too of all religions come out. Bad things everyone knows, but we have seen so many good posts showing the better side of other relgions, their followers and our Godmen too in last two days,so many misunderstandings too have been cleared, misconceptions cleared, modern day saints being better understood now, all this comes when healthy discussion is done and all participate. Otherwise it is a one to one show between two parties only. Shashie Bhai, I am fine, considering what my worth is, God has given me many times over. Thanks for your good concern always, regards, Bhaskar. , Shashi Shekhar <polite_astro wrote: > > ll HARE RAM ll > Dear Bhaskar ji, > I always appreciate your dedication and hard work.It was the matter of humour merely.Any way how are you? > > God bless > Shashi Shekhar > > > Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > Shashie Babu, > > Ram Ram, > > Bhai itni mehnat karke likha. Guest guest
dear bhaskarji, events surrounding us changes the attitude of the person and that is exactly happening over at Mumbai or any place where terror strikes. fortunately we havent witnessed at chennai such terror activities though it might have happened but not to the level of such magnitude, it is here where Rajiv gandhi was killed by bomb blast. It is quite sad to note that we are surrounded by such terror activities making our lives more miserable. We pray that this should come to an end and an era of peace and prosperity shuld usher in. with good wishes, k.gopu

Guest guest
Yes - political instability, mid term poll and change in government. regards / Prafulla Gang It is easy to change your expectations. You can do it in an instant. And that can be a problem. Too often, we lower our expectations because that is easier than overcoming the obstacles which stand in the way of fulfilling those expectations. ************************************************ > > kgopu_24 (AT) (DOT) co.uk > Tue, 12 Sep 2006 18:45:50 -0700 (PDT) > > RE: Re: Headlines Today TV-Last word 11/9 on SSS Baba? > > dear prafullaji, > Sri.K.N>Rao was on Headlines TV where there was a > debate between the scientific heads and SriK.N>rao and > geologist Sri Venkatanathan of chennai reg predictions > of earthquake.
