Guest guest
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. If you are expecting to visit Vraja and want to keep "the celebrated monkeys of Vridnavana" (SB 1.8.31 purp.) as far from you as possible, you may want to take a close look at this device ($27.83 + free shipping in USA): http://litterboy.com/Details.cfm?ProdID=123&category=17 I did some research before buying this Dazer II ultrasonic dog deterrent by comparing audiograms for dogs and rhesus macaques (attached), got one of these and tested in in the field here at Govardhan for 3 months. It works flawlessly by inaudibly deterring monkeys from as far as 10 meters away. It does not work so well for aged monkeys, though, which are hard of hearing, but otherwise scares away the rest of them -- even big machos -- much better than rocks and sticks, while being completely harmless and humane. I have to mention that I have no personal interest in advertising this device and this site. It has just made monkey control much easier for me and our school here, and I want to share the ease with others. Also, I cannot take any liability or provide any guarantee for its operation for your personal needs. It certainly works for me here at Govardhan and whoever sees it chase monkeys here wants to get the same. So buy it -- or don't -- at your own risk. I am sure there are many other similar ultrasonic pest deterrents out there in the market, and you may want to do your own research into them.
