The story that I heard.. Back in the sixties when

Yogi Bhajan came to America, it was the days of our

good Ole Hippies.. they ( the Hippies ) chanted this

song over and over again..SO..Yogi Bhajan made part of

his Kundalini Yoga Teachings..

Sat Nam. Apparently he heard it on the radio one day

on the way to teach yoga class. He loved it and began

using it at the end of each class. It was by the

folk-rock group The Incredible String Band from an

Irish folk ballad.

I saw them in concert back in the late sixties at the

Filmore East but was pretty drug abusive at the time

and did not catch that particular song. It just shows

to go you that if you do Kundalini Yoga, you'll notice

a lot of good stuff that most people miss.
