It should be obvious that Nora assumend only symbolically the role

of "the self" coming to us and whining on the list, and that she is

not talking about her own feelings.

 

If i am confronted with "the whining self" whether on this list or

in the real world I always remember what Shankar Maharaj used to

say. " I am a blotting paper of ego, i suck it out."

 

Also devi usually is averse to ego, remember Durga was killing

Mahisasura not patting his back.
