Guest guest
SrI: Dear Sri Kocchappa : Your doubt is a legitimate one . In the upcoming e-book of 400 Plus pages on ANDAL"s NaachiyAr Thirumozhi , this topic is dealt at length . This book covers the divine search and gaining of the Lord of BrundhAvanam in 143 matchless Paasurams of ANDAL in Her NaacchiyAr Thirumozhi . This e-book is by Srimathy KalyANi Krishnamachari and myself . We hope to release it in a couple of weeks , where you will come across the commentaries of many VyaakyAna karthaas about this ten paasurams praying to Kaama Devan . Happy Sri KrishNa Jayanthy , V.Sadagopan Respected Srivaishnava elders, I have a genuine doubt. We are told that we should not pray to any oter devata other than Sriman Narayana. If that be the case, why Sri Aandal prayed to Manmatha in the Nachiyar Thirumozhi. This is not 'vidhanda vaatham' by me. I am genuinely curious the reasons for Sri Andal, who sang ' unthannodu utrome yavom, unnakke nam aatcheyivom', seeking the intervention of Manmatha. Is it because she wanted us to know that no lesser god should be disrespected or she wanted to tell that for reaching Bhagawan, no stone must be left unturned. Can the doubt be clarified by the leanred devotees? Adiyen, Kochappaa
