Guest guest
Om Amriteswari Namah Ammachi, please guide and bless us as we open our hearts to the teaching of the Sri Guru Gita. Divine Mother, stand with us, as we grow in our Selves and as we continue to open our hearts and our minds to your Love and Light. Amma, show us how to share your inspiration and your Love for us with the World. We dedicate our study today to Peace on this Earth, and to healing the hearts of humankind. Guru Gita Study Session 11 Verse 48. The Lord Said: I bow down to the Guru, the ocean of mercy, with folded hands for his grace, receiving which, the soul is delivered from the world of diversities. Verse 49. The Guru’s supreme form is pure nectar to the eye of discrimination. Just as a blind person cannot see the sunrise, likewise, an unfortunate person cannot perceive (the Guru’s glory). Verse 50. O Beloved, bow in the direction of the Guru’s feet with devotion every day. Verse 51. O Noble One! The wise continually offer handfuls of flowers with butterflies humming around them, to the direction in which resides the sovereign God Guru, the eternal Witness of the creation and dissolution of the universe. Verse 53. What is the use of practicing all those hundreds of rounds of deep pranayama, which are strenuous, tedious, hard to master and likely cause numerous diseases? Attain the spontaneous state in which the powerful prana becomes still of its own accord through continual service to the One Guru. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Om Lokah samastah sukino bhavantu Lokah samastah sukino bhavantu Lokah samastah sukino bhavantu Om santih, santih, santih Om sri gurubhyo namah hari om ~Om, may all beings in all the worlds be happy.
