Guest guest
Dear List, I am providing the details of a lady who desperately needs a little help. She was working in USA since 2003 but still doesnt have a green card. She has just lost her job two days back due to problems at work place. The current employer had provided her the work visa. But as the job is gone, she needs to find a job which provides the H1 visa before the October end. She had also applied for a house on mortgage, which she has to finalise. She has already spent around 10000 dollars on that. She doesnt know whether to go ahead with the house or not as her stay in US is no longer guaranteed ?Could anyone please shed light on the following - 1. Will she get a job with a work permit ? When is it likely ? 2. Will she be able to remain in the US or will she be forced to return to India ? Birth details- 9th April 1968 / 2.30 am / mumbai thank you for your guidance. best regards VS

Guest guest
Dear VS, In next two weeks she is very likely to get a job. But, this job will be of a lower category than her previous job. Next job change is in december'06 first half and it will be a good jump in salary too. The house problem will not be solved till november'06 end. Legal hassles will go on for one more year. She is involved in controversies which are not due to her direct fault. She is unforunately paying for others' misdeeds at her workplace.
