"I am neither desirous of wealth, adoration, renunciation, fame, attachment

for sense gratification, or high praise, nor am I afraid of danger, false

accusation, or foolishness. I am simply a beggar of a drop of supreme bliss

and good fortune that Sri Vrindavan awards. This transcendental abode is my

life and soul, and it is unknown even to the Vedas.

 

"Even if everyone treats me like a candala, hates me like an ass or a dog,

criticizes me unbearably, still I will have no regret. I am sure that the

demigods headed by Gopisvara Mahadeva and the gopis headed by Vrnda will

understand my mind and become compassionate to me. Knowing my intense thirst

for Vrindavan, the animate and inanimate residents of Vraja will shower

their mercy on me. In this way they will affectionately fulfil my desire and

keep me alive."
