Hello

I am somewhat new to Yoga and have a quick question/problem I would

like some advice on.

My back is VERY inflexible and often in a bit of pain or discomfort

and my hamstrings are terriibley tight. What would be the best or most

beneficial stretches/asanas for me to do to strengthen my back and

ease the discomfort and to stretch out the hamstrings really well?

Please let me know.

Thank you for your help

Jake

Hi Jake, you just do what you can do, but do it regularly and often.

That's the key.

My heels still don't touch the floor in down-dog, after 6 years

practice. Hey, that's the best I can do - I don't think my hamstrings

will ever get back to the way they were when I was 19.

But that's the thing about yoga - accepting the way you are, and

practising ahimsa on yourself.
