Whether it is proper to say that the condition is an experience or not is up to the questioner. I am not trying to be evasive; but there is a certain arrogance to supposing that we can even understand such things. How is it that the human intellect could possibly understand the Supreme Existence? The human intellect is bound by the limits of its capacity. The intellect is bound; but the jiva need not be. Liberation is partially characterized by the absence of these types of questions. Somehow many persons believe that they can create a structure of concepts which can "contain" the unborn, undying, limitless Self. But it isn't possible. Words and concepts are limiting adjuncts and can serve to frustrate and confound the aspirant. Peace only comes as a result of the immersion of the individual existence into the great Ocean of Brahman. Most persons will never achieve it; but through intense longing, sadhana, and by the grace of the guru there is a chance.
