Guest guest
Namaste, I would like to get some background information on the Svetasvatara. I know Adi Guru Shankaracharya gave bhasya on this, therefore I do not concern myself with questioning the authenticity of this particular upanishad. Also, I would like to know where I can purchase good translations (English) of the Taittiriya and Kanva recensons of the Yajur Veda. Would any of the members kindly suggest to me particular translations, that could be purchased online. Regards, Kartik. __ On 7 Criminal Minds: Win one of four Dodge Calibers! http://au.blogs./criminal-minds/

Guest guest
namaskar, I have been to this website and it was of very little help to me. The reason is that the translation of the veda in this particular site is out of context, relative to what I am seeking. Eitherway thank you for your reply. I was primarily interested in the kanva recension, as this is the school in which Aadi Guru Shankaracharya partook of Yajur Veda. The Tattiriya possess the Durga sukta, that alone is praise enough for the whole samhita. __ On 7 Music: Create your own personalised radio station. http://au.launch./
Guest guest
I'm not sure this will be of much help, but.... http://www.abebooks.com/ is a useful site for looking for obscure, imported, out-of-print, or difficult-to-find books. Try different words in the keyword field to see what you can find. If you aren't in India and would prefer to avoid the shipping costs from India, use the "advanced search" function to specify only booksellers in your country of residence. Once you find a book you're interested in, use the ISBN (and again, the advanced search to specify bookseller country) to get a complete list of copies for sale to compare prices and shipping costs. , kartik gaurav <omkaaraya wrote: > > namaskar, > > I have been to this website and it was of very little > help to me.
