1. why did AzvAr say Peru vadivu? 4.what is peruvadivu?

The vadivu is so big, that when emperuman lies down, there is no single space left in the ksheera samudram. Such emperuman stood up, enhanced the devas and asuras through special avesam. He specially went inside vasuki, and manthara parvatha, he himself took kUrmAvathAram, to have a support from the base. He himself took a huge vadivu and hold the manthara parvatham from the top. Azhwar reminds us, look for prayojananthara paras he did so much.

2. Why did he not say the name of the kAlam?

mangalASAsana thathparathayAlE like AndAl says “orutthi”.

Azhwar emphasize that emperuman got amuthu..peNNamuthuNda emperumAn

Devas only got useless uppu chAru. “Konda” is used becoz, emperuman did the churning of the milky ocean, as his own work. For his own prayojanam. “than kAryamAha ninaithu seythAn”
