Guest guest Posted September 19, 2006 Report Share Posted September 19, 2006 ACB raid on TTD employee, seize property worth about Rs. 75 lakh Tirupati, Sept.19, (TIRUPATITIMES.COM) Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau of Andhrapradesh Police have conducted simultaneous raids on the houses of an appraiser attached to the hundi offering of Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala near here today and seized several documents that reportedly confirm possession of assets worth more than Rs. 75 lakh, disproportionate to his known sources of income, ACB sources told. The abrupt raids, after a gap of several years, on the premises of an employee of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) who is an evaluator of precious offerings at TTD Treasury Office here, by the ACB has created tremors in TTD employee circles.
