Shaakuntalam: A dance-drama by Taranga on October 7th

 

 

Dear Friends:

 

Namaste. Please find attached an announcement of a dance-drama "Shaakuntalam" based on the original play "Abhijnana Shaakuntalam" by the great poet Kaalidasa. The show will be presented in a professional theater "DeBaun Auditorium" in Hoboken, New Jersey. Their website is www.debaun.org We on behalf of Taranga (www.taranga.us) had presented last year a show "UTSAVA" at the same place which was well received. Please plan to attend the show "Shaakuntalam" on October 7th from 4pm to 5:30 pm at DeBaun.

 

We are also seeking support through sponsorship ($100) for this event to meet the production expenses. Each sponsor will receive two complimentary tickets, recognition in the playbill and also a DVDcopy of the documentary "Creating Utsava..Creating a Tradition" produced by Personapix.
