Guest guest
Dear Chakravarthi swamin, God has not stipulated any specific form of worship. Our ancestors and Achryas has structured the rituals, as well chanting the names of God to enable the worshipper to concentrate on Him and not being distracted by external thoughts. Manasika prayer is also one form of worship. Madi is nothing but the purification of our body, and this brings in the discipline while performing the pooja.
