Guest guest
I want to find out if someone has information/ experience about something which i am experiencing. And what should i do. When i close my eyes and start meditate, after few minutes, i start seeing these expanding circles of light. These are very consistent frequency. They start out of nowhere(really nowhere) and they expand and expand and than suddenly they are gone.sometimes it is only one circle, sometimes 2 or 3 also. There isalso no particular point or part of head where they start from. Sometimes they start from right side, sometime left and sometimes from centre. Sometimes, i am not able to see the starting location(there is not one particular point ever), which is above my line of vision. sometimes they are at the same level as my line of vision. I do feel quite relaxed when i am able to focus on them. And apart from that, there is no other change in state of mind.. I want to know what should i do. Should i try to nail the starting and ending point(if yes than HOW).
Guest guest
Na: What I think is the more you pay attention to those things the more you make them happen. Gurucharan Singh Khalsa told us the story once of someone who sat in front of him in class and started to twitch in a particular way each time Gurucharan asked him to do the breath of fire or some other exercise. It became clear that this student had associated something very powerful with what he was experiencing and Gurucharan figured out that the student himself made it happen. He told him to stop doing it. Sometimes we don't think we make it happen but when something like that happens we get curious, we want to know more and it happens again and we want to know more etc. and in the end it is nothing really. Keep on going and just pay attention to the sensations, not the light. If light happens, notice it and simply let it go, no expectations. Guest guest
Jai Gurudev, Thanx a lot for a wonderful insight. I am Abhishek Gunjan and holds interest in meditation. I have heard that the thing that you are experiencing is experienced when you start enlightening your energy levels. Could be please help me how you did meditation to get to this level. I have read couple of books on kundalini, but all these people speak about their experience. could you please illustrate me with the meditation procedures and the pre-requisite involved in kundalini meditation. Guest guest
SAT NAM Awtar, Could you please elaborate on this more? Does this mean focusing on the sensations will make them happen more? THis is contradictory to KY concept, isnt it so? For me paying attention to the feelings and sensations heal them and we move on...please clarify. Guest guest
Dear Akkama: I did not say to not pay attention to feelings and sensations. The light is not sensation and feelings. In Sat Nam Rasayan it is considered special effects. My choice of words could have been better. Instead of saying "the more you pay attention to those things", it would have been more accurate to say: when one starts engaging with those things in the same manner that one engages with thoughts then one stops experiencing and starts creating them. Then we wonder why they happen and how meaningful they are. when the whole engagement with them is what makes them happen. Is this clearer?
