Guest guest
Thanks Payanidhi Prabhu, My pranams. Jaya Srila Prabhupada. I found the site where you pasted this from: http://www.swargarohan.org/Bhagavata/Mahatmya/01.htm It's unfortunate that they don't give a reference where this below text comes from. All they say is that it is from "Shri Yogeshwarji's book entitled 'Srimad Bhagwat'" (whoever Shri Yogeshwarji is). I'm not saying that the below text is not from some authentic Purana. The Gokarna story, also related on this same site, is from the sixth canto chapter 193 of the Padma Purana. However, I for one don't recall ever coming across the below story/analogy. Are any of the learned readers of this text aware of where it is from? As it is presented it seems rather dubious. Thanks again. Vaishnava kripa prarthi, Madhavananda Das > 1.
