Kaappidavaaraay (Periazhwar Thirumozhi 2.8.1) All the devatas including Indran, Brahma and Rudran are waiting for the darshan of Perumal with flowers in their hands. They are standing in such a maaner that they are hiding behind the pillars, and ready to obey the command of Pudarikakshan. Azhwar requests Perumal for ThirukkAppu before those devatas' eye sight falls on His beautiful thirumeni. madhiLthiruveLLaRain^inRaay! Azhwar says that even the walls in Thiruvellarai are such that they protect Pudarikakshan from evil things. muppOdhumvaanavarEththum munivar_kaLveLLaRain^inRaay Azhwar says that all the time, Nityasuris are enjoying the kaimkaryam to Pudarikakshan. Also, the rishis are performing penance on Him. nallaar_kaLveLLaRain^inRaay! Azhwar claims that people living in this Divya Desam are very good as compared to those in other places. The reason is these people never want others to talk anything bad about their Kannan in Thiruvellarai. They always defend Him against those bad voices. oLiyudaiveLLaRain^inRaay! He is the base on which everything runs. Azhwar calls this Perumal Podhamarselvakkozhundhu as Thayar holds very special place in this Divya Desam. On reciting the last line of each of the ten pasurams in KAppidal, one would get rid of all his sufferings. adiyen, ramanan Stay in the know. Pulse on the new .com. Check it out.
