Here is the Deity of Lord Narasimha, known as PanaNarasimha, at Mangalagiri,

the hills just south of Vijayawada. He is called PanaNarasimha because part

of the puja is that you offer sweet water to the Deity when it is your turn for

 

darshan. The priest takes the water and pours half of the bowl of sweet water

into the mouth of the Deity, and the rest is given to you as prasada, holy

remnants, that you can drink later. There is no limit to how much sweet water

the Deity can drink.
