Guest guest
Hare Krishna dear Matajis and Prabhus Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Gurudeva and Srila Prabhupada. I am writing to you with the latest news on some of the really nectarian events that will take place here in Maharashtra, India within the next few months. As you know Vraja Mandala Parigrama is taking place during Kartika and it is a wonderful chance to leave all worldly things behind and just enter into the wonderful kingdom of Sri Krishna Bhagavan. Right after Kartika on the 8th of October, H.H. Lokanath Swami and all of you who should desire so will enbark on the yearly Maharashtrian tour. We will be going to Jhansi for Ratha yatra and visit the holy land of Kundinapur where Sri Krishna kidnapped Rukmini Devi, and so many other ecstatic places. I took part last year for the first time and it was really a wonderful experience to be with so many Vaisnavas visiting all these places of pilgrimage. We will travel Maharashtra for 10 days until the 18'th where we will end in Aravade, the birth place of H.H. Lokanath Swamis, for the big annual ISKCON festival. All in all a very nice oportunity to experience The Indian preaching field. Then from the 20'th of November untill the 20'th of December you are all invited to attend our book-distribution padayatra marathon in the interior Maharastra. H.G. Shravan Bhakti Prabhu is leading this one month Padayatra through towns and villages in the Jalgaon area, and from my own visit to these places I can say that it is a really beautiful and pure scene, and a perfect place to make the yearly book distribution yajna in a new way. The people here are so eager to chant the Holy names and the nature is so beautiful, so it is a good place to forget about all the squareness of the material world and be with these nice villagers who are so inspired and kind. As the Cherry on the cake for all of you who have the time, H.H Lokanath Swami is inviting you to come and spend the Chrismas time with him in Pune. He is given his yearly seven day katha with lots of Krishna pastimes, dramas, Prasadam and association and maybe even a Nama rock concert . We have rented a big hall in Pune and the facillities are perfect for a very nice katha. The Maharastrian tour fee is 1500 Rupees and covers all expenses related to Travelig, prasadam and accomodation. The Jalgaon Padayatra is free and the Pune Katha is also free but accomodation will maybe cost something depending on how many of us are attending. We will try our best to facillitate you all here during these month's of flowing nectar, so extend you stay in India for a couple of week or the full two month and come and give us your wonderful association. I will keep you updated with the lates news on these events. Hope to see you all here soon. On behalf of H.H. Lokanath Swami.
