Guest guest
Question from Nanda: Aside from not being a very nice thing to do, is there any karmic reason why a person should not indulge in gossip. Swamiji's response: Absolutely. A person's good reputation is his or her wealth. Whoever spreads gossip is stealing the wealth of that person, and will have karmic debts to pay for being a thief. Guest guest
Swamiji: Is it possible that a person would suffer relentless and malicious gossip as a result of a lifetime of speaking ill of others. I ask this because I have had an unusual amount of torment with others who speak ill of me for no apparent reason. Thank you --- Nanda <chandimaakijai > wrote: > > Question from Nanda: > Aside from not being a very nice thing to do, is > there any karmic reason > why a person should not indulge in gossip. > > Swamiji's response: > Absolutely.
