Re:report from Prag

Mataji Sanga took place 30 sept in Balarama Restaurant.

 

We were 8 matajis that met up for sanga this time. It was the first meeting

after the summer during wich we had a break in our meetings in Prag. Many of

us have been travelling during summer to festivals and have attanded sangas

elsewere.

 

We started out by discussing what we want to do during the year to come, and

what topics to discuss. We also took turn and spoke about our realizations

and personal development. It was somewhat emotional in between because its

rare to be surrounded by understanding devotees and be able to open ones

heart. One new girl came.

 

Our decision was that we want to meet more often than one a month wich is

what we did until now. We will meet again in 2 weeks in our grhasta

community Indra Prasta situated in rural Takonin outside of Prag.

 

Since we had no specific agenda for this first meeting I took the

opportunity to read a little from a text sent in to Mataji Sanga conference

by Bhaktin Maja from Zadar about the importance of proper dressing. It was

lectures and purports from Srila Prabhupada. It was most welcome since the

desire of the matajis was to have typical mataji subjects since other topics

and philosophy is available in normal temple programs.

 

Also I read a text about chaste women. Stories from Srila Prabhupada that I

found in Bhakti Vikasa Maharajas conferance. These texts and more can be

found in Mataji Sanga Conferance on PAMHO net. It gave rise to lively

discussions and we also had much fun. We started as usually with chanting

and ended up with prasadam and light talks. This conferance is open to all
