adiyEan

 

The Fifth Thirumozhi of the tenth ten of Periay Thirumozhi

"pUmkOthai Aichi' expresses the feelings of YasodhA pirATTi. In the 7th pAsuram

 

"adiyEan mulai nerudum" are words which are spoken by mother of Sri KrshNA.

 

adiyEan is the subservient term. Here the mother expressing towards the son is a bit odd.

 

Sri PBA kAnchi svAmi explains as follows:

 

Perhaps, YasOdhA pirATTi is totally submerged and has become a slave to the Supremacy and Saulabhyam of the Lord and these manifest into the word "adiyEan"

 

Anotehr thinking is that, though this thirumozhi expresses the feelings of YasOdhA, Kaliyan's self surfaces again and true to his nature -he expresses the word

"adiyEan'

 

 

When adiyean cannot even think of the question 'why the word adiyEan, has been coined by AzvAr, Sri Kanchi svami comes out with the question and also the answer.

 

That is true His versatility.
