Everytime I passed thru NY I got the feeling that someone misunderstood the word laddu. Like some call evening aratika "sundar" instead of "sandhya" and used to sing nivedEna instead of nivedAna in Tulasi artika. In service of Srimati Vrinda Devi, Deena Bandhu dasa Hare Krishna: Please accept my humble obeisance's. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Nanda Kishore prabhu invented the sweet and may have named it also. It did not resemble a Laddu in any way so there was no mistaking Lugglu for Laddu. It is similar to naming the standard Western ISKCON sweet that Srila Prabhupada tasted and liked, the "Simply Wonderful" made with powdered Milk, raisins, butter, and sugar. All glories to the sweet days of sweet lugglu Radha-Govinda > prasadam Mr. Jagger also donated to Shyamasundar ('67) for the steel beams for the reinforcement of the second floor of the Bury Place temple. Otherwise, he'd have a hell of a time explaining how famous he is to the Yamadutas. But as far as the devil is concerned, Hugo Chavez has elected a new candidate ;-) ys pcd
