AzvAr calls ThirukkuRunkudi EmprumAn as

'en nenjagam kOil koNDa pEar aruLALan' ref 9-5-10 of Periya thirumozhi. There he refers to Nambi as 'pEar aruLALan'

 

However, in the final pAsuram of 10-5 of Periya Thirumohzi

He terms himself as 'pEAr ALan'

 

'pEar ALan nenjil piriyAdhu idam koNdA sEr ALA'

10-5-10;

 

SvAmi Nam AzvAr challenges -I am a person who can sing praise of EmperumAn in the form of parathvam, vibhavam, archai -who can match me? -refer ThiruvAimozhi 4-5;

That was the Grace of Lord which gave him the poetic prowess which he celebrates proudly unto himself

'sollumAR amaikka vallEARku ini yAvar nigar agal vAnathEa' 4-5-8;

 

Similarly, Kaliyan who was bequeathed with the blessings of EmperumAn and this poetic greatness displays this prouldy
