Guest guest
Posted by Yaduraja Oct 02, 2006: Dear Ramakanta Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! You have still not: 1)Presented a letter from Srila Prabhupada to the GBC countermanding the July 9th initiation system which merely perpetuated the status quo you agree he established way back in 1966? 2) Proven your implied assumption that there is an order, authorising the GBC to change the status quo you agree he established way back in 1966, that we have somehow missed? So I shall assume you have no countermanding order to the July 9th directive, or to the status quo this directive merely perpetuated. This means that, as we stand, you are defeated. You write: > You did not answer my questions: > > Do you claim that until today Srila Prabhupada never ordered anyone that > he should ever stop being the diksa guru for ISKCON? Since the GBC were left to manage ISKCON, at the very least they would need to know about such an order. Yet they do not claim to have received any management directive from Srila Prabhupada on the specific issue of initiation since July 9th 1977. Thus our claim exactly matches the claim of the very body that would need to be in reciept of any such order from Srila Prabhupada. You are trying to imply the existence of an order, an order that is not on folio, and an order that the very management body that would need to be its recipients have never claimed exists!!?? Your challenge to point b), and hence your position, thus rests on the unproven assumption that a directive may have been issued to the GBC which: The GBC have never produced, Is not on folio, Does not appear in any GBC resolution EVER, No-one has ever claimed to see or know anything about, We do not claim exists, And which you yourself have no proof for. I wonder how much more foolish a position could be? Previously the winner of the most foolish position competition went to Adikarta prabhu, who claimed that the July 9th letter was 'Krishna's ritvik trick'..ha! But your position may be the new winner. So well done for that at least. As if all that was not bad enough, the plain, historical fact is that the GBC removed Srila Prabhupada as the sole diksa guru for ISKCON the very instant he physically departed. Therefore if you cannot produce any evidence from folio showing where Srila Prabhupada authorised the GBC to remove him, then you must believe that this order was given to the GBC the very second after Srila Prabhupada left. Is this your position? If so what is your evidence? If not then you would be implying that the GBC acted illegally on November 15th 1977 when they suspended all initiations. I'd concede defeat if I were you since you are not making any sense right now, and have been defeated from every possible angle. Best wishes Ys Yadu
