Guest guest
The term seems to originate with a conversation Srila Prabhupada had with Bhanu Swami and others in Tokyo in 1972. Unfortunately, that conversation doesn't seem to be one of the mp3 conversations sent out by the Archives. Means they felt the quality wasn't good enough to publish, I guess. Anyway, there must be a tape that matches the transcript in the VedaBase. You can request the sound file for 720422r2.tok from the Archives and listen to it to see if Srila Prabhupada is saying "sundar" or "sandhya." This is definitely where all the subsequent "sundar arati"s come from.
