Notes: 1. kubEra was a merchant. At the time of death, he had the vision of Lord shiva-shakti. In profuse bliss, he worshipped. The Lord granted him to be the lord of wealth. Lord shiva not only gives the Supreme Bliss, but if one is looking for worldly and material benefits, that would also be provided for the worshippers. 2. Similarly, whoever does austerity worshipping the Lord they get to the glorious realms of heaven.
