Emperuman blessed azhvar as requested 'aruLAi adiyErkku'. Now

thirumazhisaipiran talks about attaining all that he had to get (ishta

prApthi) and getting rid of all hurdles (anishta nivruththi)

 

 

 

(EndREn adimai) I am involved in his divine service at all times.

 

'ozhivil kAlamellAm' Though even earlier I wanted to do kainkaryam the

prakruthi sambhandam always came in the way but my taste for kainkaryam has

now reached no bounds breaking all the hurdles.

 

 

 

How did this happen?

 

 

 

(ezhindhEn pirappidumpai) I have totally shed all the ego and pride that

arouse due to this birth. Since the ego and pride have got accumulated like

a mountain here azhvar says that he has got down from it.

 

 

 

(AndRen amarakku amarAmai) Days have changed, earlier I prostrated the other

devatas but now I have raised in knowledge and devotion to such a level

making them ashamed.

 

 

 

(kadan nAdum maNNAdum kaivittu mElai edanAdu kAna eni AndrEn) I have lost

the interest in svarga (where we enjoy the fruits of our good deeds) and

this world (where we do good deeds) and I am now totally prepared to reach

the primordial paramapadam.

 

 

 

kadannAdu-Svarga is called so since similar to getting away from our debts

only after repaying the same there also we have to get rid of the results of

good deeds only after enjoying the fruits of the same.

 

 

 

(edanAdu) paramapada that holds all the devotees of the lord, who is

impartial to all athmas.
