Guest guest
To All Members: In traditional jyotish, the Kama Bhavas (or Houses of Desires) are the third, seventh and 11th houses. The shastras have described these bhavas very extensively looking at it from the relative or worldly view. However, if we look at these houses from the spiritual perspective, or at the absolute view, we will find these revealing combinations as shown below: 1. The third house is the 8th from the 8th house. That means, death of our own death. Therefore, we can interpret this to mean that this is the house of one's reincarnation; or for others, it is the house of one's resurrection. The third house is the seventh from the 9th bhava, the field of the Divine Guru. Therefore, at reincarnation or one's resurrection, one becomes an associate of the divine. 2. The seventh house is a trikona house from the third house. Therefore, the seventh house is a natural fruit (5th house signification) of being in a higher level of existence during one's own resurrection, perhaps even at one's own reincarnation. Why? Because you become a friend of the Divine Guru. Specifically, the seventh house is the 11th bhava from the field of the Divine Guru, the 9th house. 3. The eleventh house is a trikona house from the third and seventh houses. As such, the eleventh house is fruit of the seventh house and a derivative of the third house. Therefore, at the higher level of existence, whether at resurrection or reincarnation, one becomes the brother of the Divine Guru. Why? Because the eleventh house is the third house from the field of the Divine Guru, the ninth bhava. Additionally, if one believes that the Divine Guru can die in the manifested world, the eleventh house is the resurrection or reincarnation of the Divine Guru. Why? Because the eleventh house is the 8th house from the 4th bhava, the mrityu bhava from the 9th house. In other words, the eleventh house is the fulfillment of our own spiritual desire, which is to be resurrected or reincarnated as the divine Guru. Regards, John R.
