Guest guest
Hey Sateesh, Yeah, that's true. The more one buys leather, the more animals will be killed to supply it. But one thing I like about this list is that it opens my eyes to other ways of living that are foreign to me. Some people eat meat, some don't. Some use leather some don't. But I think it's great if we can get to the point of walking our own path because we believe in it, and ALSO accept someone walking a different path (like using leather goods). Afterall, it's THEIR path and for them it is where they need to be. We can continue to persuade others to join us on our own ideas, but we aren't all here for the same lesson. And I've learned that on this list where so much is so foreign to me. I think that's cool. So I agree with you Sateesh, AND I agree that his path is right for him. However, disagree with me on anything else and I'll annihilate you. Hahahahaha. Kidding. --- Sateesh Batas <makaras (AT) ukonline (DOT) co.uk> wrote: > Good post, Mary - by the way, many animals are > killed specifically for their leather rather than > for their meat - adds a different twist on things, > eh... Guest guest
Everyone who is anyone keeps their nukes in North Korea, so naturally all of mine are there. Then again, your place is willing to send the tanks to the airport. So, hmm. How about my place? We send troops all over at the drop of the hat, any hat. ;-) --- Sateesh Batas <makaras (AT) ukonline (DOT) co.uk> wrote: > Ok, come on then - meet at my place or North Korea? > > >>>However, disagree with me on anything else and > I'll annihilate you.<<< >
Guest guest
Mary, Sateesh/et all Let us get to more mundane things. Richard(Das Goravani) is a good man and just like any of us, he is going through tough times and we need to help him if we can. I think of us as inter-dependent/helping society. In that sense, I am very disappointed with Bhaskar's e-mail and tone.
