Guest guest
Birthtimes can be inaccurate, often are and many a times are mistakenly presented, sending the hardworking astrologers on a wild goose chase! But the palm prints are more or less unmistakable and unmistakably ours, from birth to death! For instance, those who are adopted or for many other reasons do not really have an accurate birthtime or even date for that matter! They still do have their palms for life and if only we could READ the obvious (palm) rather than the oblivious (birthtimes!). Palm prints, from that perspective, are superior to horoscopes! But is palmistry up to the task and would it or its practitioners come forward to challenge astrology or horoscopy? Don't look at me for answers, forum!! Guest guest
Ranjanji, an interesting topic..i also believe in palmistry lot lot more than astrology based uopn my practical experiences.. - for example have people noticed that most of the times lines in our left hand never changes but in the right hand changes all the time.. - for example have people noticed that in times of difficulties lot of criss cross lines start appearing mainly on right hand.. - i have noticed lines for example marriage lines/child lines etc starting to appear few months before the actual event. - i have noticed crosses appearing over lifeline few months again before the actual event. there must be something to this i have found that most of times lot of good predictions about some of my wellwishers were made by people who knew palmistry.. astrology i always found that most of preditions are pretty generalised..out of 10 things may be 3-4 may be right but then thats probability.. Anyways that just my thoughts..would like to hear other people opinion on the same.. Guest guest
Neeraj ji, Palmistry certainly works. I have not comparatively examined the two, astrology and palmistry as rigorously as you obviously have (judging by the stats given by you). Where birthdata are not available or questionable, palmistry certainly seems to have advantage. Which one has more capability or resolution is another matter. Both ultimately are based strongly on pattern recognition even though there can be logical underpinnings beneath both divinatory crafts. But 3 or 4 out of 10 is rather poor, performance-wise. Generally astrologers claim percentages like 75 to 82, overall. 30-40% would be even less than pure chance (50% assuming that the coin is balanced!). Anyway -- thanks for your thoughts RR , "mahima_neeraj" <mahima_neeraj wrote: > > Ranjanji, > > an interesting topic..i also believe in palmistry lot lot more than > astrology based uopn my practical experiences.. > > - for example have people noticed that most of the times lines in > our left hand never changes but in the right hand changes all the > time.. > - for example have people noticed that in times of difficulties lot > of criss cross lines start appearing mainly on right hand.. > - i have noticed lines for example marriage lines/child lines etc > starting to appear few months before the actual event. > - i have noticed crosses appearing over lifeline few months again > before the actual event. > > there must be something to this > > i have found that most of times lot of good predictions about some > of my wellwishers were made by people who knew palmistry.. > > astrology i always found that most of preditions are pretty > generalised..out of 10 things may be 3-4 may be right but then > thats probability.. > > Anyways that just my thoughts..would like to hear other people > opinion on the same.. > > Best Regards, > - Neeraj > , "Rohiniranjan" > <jyotish_vani@> wrote: > > > > Birthtimes can be inaccurate, often are and many a times are > > mistakenly presented, sending the hardworking astrologers on a > wild > > goose chase! > > > > > > But the palm prints are more or less unmistakable and unmistakably > > ours, from birth to death! > > > > > > For instance, those who are adopted or for many other reasons do > not > > really have an accurate birthtime or even date for that matter! > They > > still do have their palms for life and if only we could READ the > > obvious (palm) rather than the oblivious (birthtimes!). > > > > > > Palm prints, from that perspective, are superior to horoscopes! > > > > But is palmistry up to the task and would it or its practitioners > > come forward to challenge astrology or horoscopy? > > > > Don't look at me for answers, forum!! > > > > Rohiniranjan > > >
