Guest guest
THE GREATEST WONDER "Pathudai adiyavar'of Kaliyan It is said that there are seven wonders. . What is the greatest wonder? Among the seven? NO. The Greatest playing down with the lowest. Who is the Greatest? The Supreme playing with the Atman subject to kArmic effects. Just playing. NO. Getting imprisoned by a small rope of yAsOdhAp pirATTi. The Supreme who created the world, the Lord who gave the vEdhaAs, the EmeprumAn who demolished the asurAs, the Almighty who measured the worlds, The Greatest is here subject to the whims and fancies of the mortals, subservient to the GOPikAs, obedient as He is to the dictum of the devotees -The Greatest coming down mingling and submitting HImself to the devotees. INdeed Great. That Sri Nam AzvAr also fainted for 6 months on realising this saulabyam is understood from the thriuvAimozhi pathudai adiyavar 1-3;That the Supremacy of first two thriuvAimozhi-s, did not fell him but the Supreme getting Himself entwined with the rope of love and affection made AzvAr swoon is also seen. The fact that Thriumangai Azvar reiterates EmperumAn-s saulabyam again and again from this very epiosde is magnificent. Perhaps, this is pathudai of Thirumangai Mannan. The sixth thriumozhi of the tenth ten of Periya Thirumozhi 'engAnum EdhoppadhOr mAyam vuNDEA ..aLa veNNei vuNdu AppuNdirundhavanEa' again and again in each of the pAsuram-s. aLa veNNei vuNDu AppuNdirundhavanEa dasan vanamamalai padmanabhan
